Fourth Element X-Core Vest Womens
The Fourth Element X-Core Vest is their answer to the heated vest but without the wires and batteries. The X-Core Vest is designed to be worn beneath their Arctic, Arctic Expedition or Halo 3D under garments (or another other undersuit) to provide extra thermal protection to the level that, in most cases, an electric vest isn’t even needed.
The X-Core Vest works best when worn over a baselayer such as the Fourth Element J2 or Xerotherm but it also be worn next to the skin. The sleeveless design ensure that you maintain full freedom of movement and the four way stretch fabric fits snugly without being restrictive.
Fourth Element X-Core is made with REPREVE® – a fibre that is made from recycled post-consumer waste, including used plastic bottles. Plastic is removed from the waste stream and prevented from reaching the ocean. 76% of the fibre composition of X-Core is recycled polyester.
The Polartec® fabric used in X-Core is manufactured to the highest environmental standards. It has Blue Sign® and Oeko-Tex® certification to indicate that harmful chemicals are minimised or eliminated and that waste water is treated to ensure its purity before being released from the factory.
This garment is machine washable to make cleaning easy and it is recommended that you use Fourth Element Sub30 Technical Garment Wash to ensure the garment maintains its thermal and fast wicking properties. Sub30 is also an environmentally friendly washing solution for technical fabrics.
