What is Marseillaise Belt? The Mares Freediving Marseillaise Belt is a belt used in freediving and spearfishing. It is made of elastic rubber, which adjusts to the squeeze of the diver’s suit. It is also said that it aids in abdominal breathing offering less restriction than a standard polyester belt used by scuba divers.
