Tusa Hyflex Switch Fin
The Tusa Hyflex Switch is a channel style fin with a difference, offering all the benefits of a full length blade but it is also travel friendly thanks to a clever modular fin design that allows the blade and foot pocket to be separated for easier packing.
The blade uses a number of different materials to provide strength and flexible at different points in the blade but the centre channel is made from PuRiMaX which is a form of polyurethane that is soft to touch and highly flexible which makes the fin highly responsive.
At the top of the blade Tusa have fitted their Vortex Generator which alters the flow of water, creating vortices that help to reduce resistance and making your kick cycle smoother and more efficient. Just above the blade there is also a large vent that allows water that doesn’t provide any propulsion to pass through the blade rather than hinder it, further improving efficiency. Finally, the side rails angle the blade at 20 degrees from the foot pocket for the most efficient attack angle.
The foot pocket also uses a mix of materials that provides a strong frame to transfer energy to the blade but also provide a comfortable fit.The Hyflex Switch is the first Tusa fin to be fitted with their universal one size fits all bungee strap. The bungee strap does only come in one size but does provide a degree of adjust-ability.
