Tusa Platina Hyperdry II Snorkel
The TUSA Platina Hyperdry II is a premium snorkel kitted out with plenty of features that help you enjoy your snorkelling to its maximum potential.
Starting at the top the snorkel is fitted with a Hyperdry wave deflector that is designed to redirect any water that laps over the top of the tube from entering the snorkel, deflecting it using a series of current rectifying plates to drain the water away from the opening.
The snorkel tube itself is not completely rigid. By giving the tube a degree of flexibility TUSA has reduced the chances of damage by accidental crushing and also allowed the snorkel to flex slightly as you move, improving comfort. The tube has also been shaped to hug the side of the head as it rises, reducing drag and the annoying buffeting that can happen when swimming quickly or against a strong current.
The Platina Hyperdry II features a quick release comfort swivel clip that secures the snorkel to the mask strap when in use. The clip can be slid up and down the snorkel for optimal positioning of the mouthpiece and the swivelling action is great for divers as it allows the snorkel to straighten when released, moving the mouthpiece clear to prevent interference with your regulator. The quick release allows the low profile clip to be permanent fixed to the mask strap for rapid fitting when you need to use it.
The lower half of the snorkel features a Crystal Silicone neck that is completely flexible, you can even roll the snorkel up into a ball. This high flexibility ensures comfortable positioning of the silicone mouthpiece with minimal pulling and movement whilst in use.
To aid water clearance TUSA have designed a high flow purge system with a large one way valve that makes clearing either via gravity or forced with an exhale much quicker and easier. The large volume helps to keep the airway clear and instantly reducing the amount of water in the mouthpiece.

Comfort Swivel
The Comfort Swivel offers a more comfortable fit since it creates no load on the mouthpiece, straightens out during diving and doesn’t get in the way. The swivel adapter makes it possible to slip the mask strap into the slit with no hassles. The two-part construction allows the snorkel to rotate and can be attached in a horizontal position.

High Flow Purge
The High Flow Purge design used on TUSA snorkels offers a covered large diameter purge valve for simple, quick clearing, reducing the amount of water remaining in the mouthpiece in an instant.

Hyperdry System
The Hyperdry System keeps the main pipe dry by ejecting water through an independent escape pipe. This unique design utilizes the angle of the snorkel pipe and the resilience of the water surface to eject water.
